Are Courtney & Christa Cougar Town’s New BFF’s?
What do you think?
Remember that show that was on basic cable for, like, a million years? The show about “average” New Yorkers living and loving together? The show that still lives on in syndication? No–not Law & Order. The other one. The one about a group of friends that was creatively called–wait for it–Friends.
Yeah, that one. Anyway, those crazy kids dug each other in a big way both on and off the set, but one of them has recently emerged as a serial co-star lover. Think about it. Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston became inseparable on the set of Friends, and they’ve seemingly supported each other ever since. (Jennifer’s even godmother to Courtney’s daughter Coco, which, in Hollywood, is the equivalent of donating a major organ.)
See what Moonit had to say about Jen and another co-star.
Now, Courtney’s apparently “hit it off instantly” with her Cougar Town co-star Christa Miller. Not only have they been spending some off-screen quality time together, but they even went out on a double date. (Given that Christa and her husband, Cougar Town co-creator Bill Lawrence, had to spend an evening with David Arquette, this friendship must be the real deal.) Is Courtney being faithful to Jen, or does she have a new BFF in Christa? Moonit’s on the case.
According to their birth date analysis, Courtney (born on June 15, 1964) and Christa (born on May 28, 1964) are “like a shot of espresso with your red bull…they really get each other going.” Their friendship has a lot of potential, but it shouldn’t have Jennifer Aniston losing any sleep. The readout goes on to say that they’ll, “never be worried about the other one not caring enough to return their call or being lame when they get together because there’s always this charged energy between them.”
However, “there’s also a chance that they want and need different things in life, and each of them has their own unique approach to getting things done. It’s important to not lose perspective, and they need to give each other space to live their own lives.”
Christa and Courtney’s business relationship potential is through the roof, though. Their professional reading says that, “if they’re in the market for an excellent working relationship, a terrific travel partner, and a genius-level buddy to bounce their ideas off of, look no further!”
Overall? Not bad, but Christa and Courtney’s friendship bond isn’t nearly as tight as Courtney and Jennifer’s. Moonit’s analysis of Court and Jen (born on February 11, 1969) says that, “it’s not just luck that these two started hanging out; they’re genetically wired to be tight.”
Their reading goes on to say that “They can make each other laugh like no one else, they’re generally on the same page, and there’s no one else they’d rather chill with, even when they’re just doing nothing. While there’s a little bit of competition lurking beneath the surface, it’s the friendly variety – the kind that spurs them both on to work a little harder and be a little better.”
Phew. And as long as Sam Waterston and S. Epatha Merkerson don’t get in the way, everything’s golden.
