Carey Mulligan Moves On

Shia who? Although Carey Mulligan has reportedly been shacking up at a Best Western Hotel while working in LA, her taste in men is fortunately better than her choice in lodging. The British up-and-coming actress has traded her Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps co-star Shia LaBeouf for hometown hotee, English actor Tom Sturridge (seriously, look him up, we’ll wait).

So is this just a randy rebound, or has Carey found the real deal? Moonit.com’s on the case.

According to their birth dates, Carey (born May 28, 1985) and Tom (born December 21, 1985) are a “match made in heaven.” Have you ever heard the expression, ‘if you love something, set it free…?” Yeah, well, that’s a load of garbage. In this case, it’s more like “if you love something, grab onto it with both hands and don’t let go.”

Their relationship assessment reveals Carrie and Tom have it all: they’re “physically attracted to each other, they provide each other with unwavering emotional support, and they dig each other’s vibe more than Brett Michaels loves strip clubs.” It  basically “looks like they’re perfectly matched.” So why does their relationship look sweeter than a Heidi-and-Spencer photo spread?

Carrie and Tom are both “great at identifying with each other, they instinctively understand each other’s needs and moods, and they can practically finish each other’s sentences.” It’s essentially like “dating your best friend…who you want to see naked.” Ahem.

And you know how people always warn against working with family and friends? Wrong. In fact, Carrie and Tom have “the makings of ideal partners no matter what they’re collaborating on,” so we “encourage them to give that new joint project a shot.” Wall Street 3, perhaps?
