What do you think?

Just six months or so after getting engaged during their first year of dating, country music sensation Carrie Underwood and her fiancee, rising hockey star Mike Fisher, are already tying the knot in a $500K bash! Where, you ask? The Ritz-Carlton Lodge on Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Georgia, about 75 miles east of Atlanta.

Apparently security’s super tight at the lakefront property, having kicked everybody out of the resort who wasn’t invited. So then who was invited, anyway? Their star-studded guest list includes the old school Idol crew–Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson–and country music stars like Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, not to mention Mike’s teammates from the Ottawa Senators. So now that Carrie’s officially hanging up her boots, it’s time to ask: does this speedy-as-a-slap-shot wedding have a real chance?

According to Moonit’s birth date analysis, Carrie (born March 10, 1983) and Mike (born June 5, 1980) have, “always felt oddly drawn to each other,” but Carrie tends to be, “the one to put the wheels in motion. I guess she’s the force behind the speedy nuptials then!

And even though he’s definitely curious, Mike’s less likely to put himself out there.” Case in point: although Carrie tried her best to keep their relationship quiet, she gushed about Mike in the liner notes of her new album, Play On. (And Carrie? We know you’re psyched, but you’re not exactly keeping things on the DL when you thank “#12″ for being “the most amazing addition to my life!… I love you so much! You make my life better in every way!”)

Interestingly, their relationship isn’t all exclamation points with heart-shaped dots. The read-out goes on to say that things are, “guaranteed to be interesting.” And if we’re going down the let’s-not-mince-words route, Moonit’s warning goes something like this: “this relationship is bound to be super intense,” so, “unless both Carrie and Mike are up for getting emotionally, physically and mentally involved, they shouldn’t even think of barking up each other’s tree.”

See what’s in store for your relationships on Moonit!

However, “if they’re mature enough to handle a slew of really positive (but also challenging) feelings, then we’d suggest giving it a shot.” Luckily for them, the upside’s just too big to ignore; to quote Moonit, this pairing, “might actually be one of the most fulfilling relationships either of them will ever have.” Sigh. Here’s hoping that Mike’s mature enough to never cheat on Carrie… or else he better watch out for that Louisville Slugger of hers.

What others are saying ›

“dead cat bounce.” The Lions uullasy play like dead “cats”, and they uullasy get bounced by all who play them, so I guess you’re right in more than one way. LOL!
