I wish reporters would go to the source before printing things as fact. My sister has been a Scientologist for many many years and has 4 children. A silent birth does not mean there is total silence. The Mother is the only one who makes any noise and is free to be as vocal as she wishes. Although the Mother’s do try to keep it down when/if possible. There is no truth in the statement that the child is not talked to for the first 7 days. The very opposite is true. the idea is to keep the sounds around them soothing and comforting, soft sounds not loud and sudden. Babies are loved, cuddled, rocked, cooed to, talked to and sang to as much as possible. All efforts are made to keep the baby from feeling any discomfort or from hearing any form of discord around them. As for Jon’s so called temper, I believe you are the very first reporter to ever make such a claim. John has a very long standing reputation as being one of the nicest and easy gpoing stars alive today. Get your facts straight or get another job. As for John and Kelly’s age they certainly aren’t the oldest couple to have a baby so what is the big deal. There is a long list of celebrities Kelly’s age and older.
I am elated for the family and wish them nothing but peace and happiness. It is well deserved. Baby Benjamin is a luckily little boy to be be born into a family with so much love to give.
