As our best friend Ryan Gosling tells us*, being on a Hollywood movie set can be a way-intense experience. When you’re immersed in a character for weeks on end, it’s sort of hard to figure out who you’re being paid to smooch on, and who you independently choose to mouth-maul.

See–it’s just so much easier when they wind up being the same person, no? There’s no weird confusion, you don’t accidentally wind up slipping the tongue to the make-up lady, and your sexy on-camera scenes can be exxtra sexxy (with an extra “x,” even)! Maybe that’s why Ryan started dating former Murder By Numbers co-star Sandra Bullock.
Or his The Notebook co-star Rachel McAdams. Or, most recently, Blue Valentine co-star Michelle Williams. We know, we know. They swear to Christ, Allah, Buddah and Nostradamus that they’re only extra-huggy friends, and in the interest of full disclosure, we’ve got our fingers crossed for some Gosling-McAdams reconciliation (and beautiful babies).
Still? We totally can’t write off the Williams-Gosling adorableness. Since they’ve been extra cute on the red carpet, Moonit’s taking a look at whether or not these awesome actors have a shot at the real deal when they get off the set.

According to their birth date analysis, Ryan Gosling (born Nov 12, 1980) and Michelle Williams (born September 9, 1980) ought to “pick out their nickname.” Moonit goes on to explain that they’re a “Brangelina. A Spedi. A TomKat.”
What we’re trying to say is “these guys are so great with each other, they’re moments away from having major media outlets combine their names into one catchy uber-term. Michgos, anyone?
But Moonit goes on to say that “they don’t need TMZ to tell them how perfect they are together. They naturally exude this incredibly positive energy. And, when they’re together, everything seems to work out for the best.” Why is that, exactly?

“It’s probably because she manages to only see the good qualities in him and completely bags the rest.” At the same time, Ryan’s “not afraid to show some serious PDA and is genuinely concerned about her well-being.” Umm… you can say that again.
