January Jones Has a New Funnyman

Is it part of the ESPY Awards policy to lace everything with pheromones? First, Kim Kardashian and Miles Austin were all cutesy on the red carpet, and totally confirmed that they’re dating. Then, Mad Men’s January Jones and Saturday Night Live’s Jason Sudeikis were all over each other, and totally made out and cracked each other up at the after party. ESPY Awards: whatever you’re putting in the water? We want some.

Back to Sudeikis and Jones. The two originally met last November when January awkwardly hosted SNL. [If he could dig her after that abysmal performance, their relationship was probably meant to be. -Ed.] Although Jones has gone through her share of Hollywood guys–think Ashton Kutcher, Adrien Brody, and Jeremy Piven–and Sudeikis was recently linked to Jennifer Aniston, January and Jason seem thick as thieves. It’s nice that she’s become a fixture on the set of Sudeikis’ newest flick, Horrible Bosses, but since Sudeikis is recently divorced and January dated Josh Groban, is there enough here to cut through all their baggage?

According to their birth date analysis, January (born on January 5, 1978) and Jason (born on September 18, 1975) are in for a “subtle game of cat and mouse” when dating. Since both of them are reluctant to “lay their feelings on the line,” they both have a tendency to “approach this relationship with a cool detachment.”

Of the two of them, January “can be a little needier, looking to Jason for some guidance and support.” Luckily, this is something Jason can easily give her, comforting her “with the precision of a surgeon’s scalpel.” (The truth is, January’s ego “probably couldn’t handle him getting right in her face,” anyway.)

It’ll take someone like Jason–someone with a “certain amount of discretion”–in order to “help her deal with any issues that crop up.” There’s no denying that January sometimes “needs [his] unbiased opinion,” especially since “most people in her life don’t have the audacity to give it to her straight.” Maybe this funny man is just what January needs–someone tell it like it is.
