What do you think?

Aren’t 40-somethings supposed to look, you know, 40-something? With a body that won’t quit (and some of the best plastic surgery this side of Beverly Hills), it’s no wonder that Jennifer Aniston looked right at home with John Mayer–even though he’s eight years her junior.

Alas, as Jen found out the hard way, younger men may look young, but they can act even younger. (No offense, John. We hope you and your whoopie cushion are doing well.)

Check out Moonit’s analysis of Jen’s relationship with her ex.

So, we’re pretty psyched that Jen’s moved on to an equally pretty but far more age-appropriate beau: Gerard Butler, who she celebrated her 41st bday with in Cabo. Now that Jen’s dating an “unpretentious guy’s guy,” Moonit’s taking a look at whether these two rom-com veterans can find real-life love with each other.

According to their birth date analysis, Jennifer (born on February 11, 1969) and Gerard (born on November 13, 1969) are straight-up good together. These two have, “the ability to bring out the absolute best in each other,” and like most great teams, “it’s really rewarding for them to accomplish things together.” (Positive collaborations, you say? Like their co-starring roles in The Bounty Hunter? How’s that for relationship foreshadowing?)

See what Moonit said about Jen’s ex-hubbie Brad.

Moonit’s assessment reveals that “no matter how big or small the task may be, he’s willing to take the initiative, and he has the energy to see just about anything through to completion. Plus, she’s got never-ending optimism to spare.” So, what happens when the going gets tough? “She motivates him to keep his chin up, and works some serious magic in the organizational department.”

The reading goes on to say that they, “also thoroughly appreciate each other.” Whether or not Jen realizes it, she “quietly admires his ‘get it done’ attitude,” and Gerard knows, “he couldn’t have gotten anything accomplished without her.”

Since these these two will likely, “diverge on lifestyle choices and long-term goals” at times, it’s important for them to give each other the benefit of the doubt, hear each other out, and steer clear of mysterious, young strangers bearing flatulent, balloon-like toys.

Synastry-wise they have no staying power. You need conjunctions for that to happen. Trines are friendly at best, Plus, his Uranus is oppose her Venus…excitement is the name of the game here. Their Suns are also in square. His Jup falls on her Asc, so he makes her feel good about herself, but his Cap moon doesn’t do much for her chart. It looks like fun for them, for now. When Saturn comes up to hit 7 degrees of Libra, which will oppose her Venus and hit his Uranus….he’ll be right outta there! If not before. I guarantee it.

I really hope that she finds love. Jennifer really deserves it, and Gerard seems like the perfect guy for her. I’m crossing my fingers that he’s the good luck charm she needed.
