LeAnn Rimes: Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places?
What do you think?
When country star LeAnn Rimes and choreographer Dean Sheremet tied the knot in 2002, we did our best to be all smiley and happy for them. And while she was writing “Mrs. Dean Sheremet” all over her TrapperKeeper™, we desperately tried not to blurt out stuff like, “You’re too young to get married!” or, “Isn’t he gay?” or, “Did we mention you’re seriously too young to get married?
Although the two have been super-supportive and inseparable and he’s-my-best-friend-and-even-goes-with-me-to-get-pedicures, the Moonit Meter sums it up best: “Domestic bliss might bore them to tears.” And that couldn’t be more true for LeAnn, unfortunately. When you’re 19, crazy hot, an international singing sensation, and temptation—in the form of lots and lots of man candy—is constantly dangled in front of you, there’s no way you’re not going to be tempted.
And if things at home are blasé at best, well…? Let’s go to LeAnn and Dean’s readout: “You can go for days without arguing, and you rarely fight. Wait—that’s good, right? Well, kind of…What happened to the spice…the fire…the ripping each other’s clothes off with reckless abandon? Because you two generally see eye-to-eye, it’s easy to put your relationship on autopilot; you’re likely to have great careers and financial successes, but it’s only because there isn’t much ‘action’ to distract you. Since your relationship is all about the status quo, you might be tempted to stray, but before you go looking for love in all the wrong places, try injecting a little romance back into your partnership.”
It looks like LeAnn took that advice to heart, only with actor Eddie Cibrian instead of her husband Dean. If Dean and Eddie Cibrian’s wife Brandi had done some investigative work on Moonit, they would have tried their damnedest to prevent LeAnn and Eddie from ever co-starring in that fateful Lifetime Movie… Rimes might not be shacking up with Eddie… divorce papers might not be on the table… and Sheremet might not be the target of some nasty rumors (Riddle: When is a beard not just facial hair?).
Because, according to LeAnn and Eddie’s Moonit reading, “Not only are they physically and emotionally synched, but they have the potential to create a fun, affectionate world for each other… Since they tend to collaborate well together on all fronts, they’d also make terrific partners on a joint project. But if they decide to go the professional route, we’ll issue a challenge: we dare them to keep their workplace make-out free.” Danger: when two people have this much off-screen chemistry and are as good looking as they are, it’s a recipe for adultery.

they were a total fraud from the beginning

Moonit was spot on. Dean and Brandi should do their research next time – LeAnn’s not even an actress. This was totally preventable!

I think LeAnn should do a movie with Marc Anthony. That might cause the world to spontaneously combust.
