Nick & Selena, Game Off?
What do you think?
In a continuing effort to cover the Disney dating scene, Moonit’s addressing rumors that Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez may be (shudder! gasp! die!) breaking up.. again. And it looks serious this time; Selena has (shake! crumple! fart!) unfollowed Nick on Twitter. We’re pretty sure Miley Cyrus isn’t shedding a tear for the on-again-off-again-whatever-again couple.
Check out what Moonit said about Miley’s relationship!
Remember Miley and Mandy Jiroux’s parody of Selena and Demi’s YouTube clip? (As if that wasn’t a total gambit for Nick’s attention. We’re hip to your not-so-sneaky ways, Cyrus.) Now, sources claim that Selena and Nick “are no longer together” because “work was going to keep them apart.” Really? Work was the problem? Riiiiiight. Moonit’s on the case to see what’s really going on.
According to their birth date analysis, Nick (born on September 16, 1992) and Selena (born on July 22, 1992) are actually super compatible. Sayeth Moonit, “no do-it-yourself project is too big for the two of them. No matter how big or small the task at hand may be, she’s willing to take the initiative and has the energy to see just about anything through to completion.” While that’s not exactly a ringing endorsement for hot-and-heavy hook-ups, we’ll take it as a positive.

And on the Nick front, it’s like he’s got, “this never-ending optimism to spare…[he] lays out plans like no other and never met a social calendar he didn’t like.” When the going gets tough, Nick motivates Selena to, “keep her chin up and work serious magic in the organizational department.” Put these two together, and they’re like an “all-purpose power tool on steroids.” In particular, Nick admires Selena’s “get it done attitude,” and Selena’s “smart enough to realize she couldn’t have accomplished anything without him.”
So, why have these two been torn apart when they, “have the ability to bring out the absolute best in each other?” Sadly, according to Moonit’s friendship assessment, they can easily fall victim to “permafrost.” Their reading reveals that, “they both try their best to put up a good front, but it’s not good enough…As much as they pretend everything’s fine and nothing’s missing from their friendship, we know better.”

Why? “It’s pretty clear that she’s not so good at showing the love, and of course, that makes it hard for him to feel like he can really open up to her.” And on the other hand, “she also hesitates to share because–every time she gets into it–he blows an emotional gasket!” Drama x 1,000,000.
