Reggie Bush and Kim Kardashian: All Bets Are Off

After taking a break from each other this past summer, New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush and reality phenom Kim Kardashian have decided to give it another go. (Call it a “Hail Mary” relationship play.) Will our ‘lil Kim be the newest Kardashian with a set of televised nuptials? She’s certainly got the press wondering– and E! execs shaking in their boots at the thought of footing the bill for another million-dollar wedding.

This past week, Kim filled the airwaves with rumor-mill fodder and talk of a pretty high-stakes bet: the wager dictates that, if the Saints win it all this season, Kim will earn a diamond sparkler (and an official proposal) to match Reggie’s Super Bowl ring. Kim’s now claiming that her radio comments were taken waaaaaaaay out of context, but the pressure’s officially on to take the relationship to the next level. Since we can feel the tie-the-knot tension from here, Moonit decided to analyze whether this on-again, off-again relationship can go all the way.

According to Moonit’s analysis of their birth dates, Reggie (born March 2, 1985) has such a strong pull on Kim (born October 21, 1980), he’s practically got, ”a magnet in his pants.” The assessment goes on to explain that, “it’s like there’s a force larger than life drawing her to him, telling her to be around him as much as possible if she wants to grow and achieve her true potential.” Maybe this attraction is what’s giving them another lease on love; sources say they just, “couldn’t be apart.” (Case in point: Kim flew out to see Reggie right after sister Khloe’s wedding.) And as for Reggie being a positive influence on Kim? Well, that much also seems to be true; he’s even motivated her to kick things up a notch in the gym.

Their reading asserts that, “pretty soon, wherever they go together, they’re the ‘it’ couple. They entertain the people who matter, they’re effortlessly ‘on’ all the time, and they seem confident and comfortable in any situation… from their perfectly timed snuggling to their witty repartee to their meticulously appointed house.”

But Moonit also serves up some food for thought, reasoning that, “when they spend so much time honing a bulletproof, enviable exterior, their interior can suffer. Keeping up appearances can be exhausting, and these two are setting a world record for ‘looking the part.’” The problem is that, “they spend so much time working to please everyone else, they may wind up neglecting themselves.” To sum up? If these two want a fighting chance at long-term happiness, they’ll be much better off if all bets are off.
