Taylor & Cory Better Hook Up
What do you think?
Everyone’s had it happen before. You head out for an evening with your besties. “Woooot! No dudes/chicks! This is all about friends,” you proclaim. Emboldened by the security of your granny panties/hole-ridden boxer briefs, you and the crew hit up your local pool hall/mini-golf/Dave and Busters, or any establishment where you can show off your serious athletic prowess without, you know, having athletic prowess.
“Have I mentioned how awesome it is that we can just hang out,” you say. “I’m so glad that there are no guys/girls there, because–” And suddenly, that person you totally want to get with walks through the door, your friends fade into the background, and you’re in the middle of Flirtfest 2010, laundry-day undies be damned.
The friends-night-out-means-flirting-for-sure phenomenon even happens in Tinseltown. Get this: when Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez went to L.A.’s Pinz Bowling for a girls’ night, “Glee”’s Cory Monteith popped up out of nowhere. Suddenly, Monteith was all, “Hey,” and Swift was all, “Hey back,” and it was on.
See what Moonit had to say about Taylor and Taylor a while ago.
Of course, the two were recently spotted chumming it up at Grammy parties, so it’s no big surprise that they’d strike up conversation and have chemistry to spare. Even still, we’re left wondering if they’re pinned for good, or if this fling is a gutterball waiting to happen. Luckily, Moonit’s got the answer, and we can assure you that it’s completely bowling-pun-free.
With all the “just friends” comments issuing from their reps, we were all ready for Taylor and Cory’s relationship assessment to indicate they’d be better off as platonic pals. Au contraire, mon peoples. According to their birth date analysis, Taylor (born on December 13, 1989) and Cory (born on May 11, 1982) won’t be able to “keep their hands off each other.” Wow. Why is this caliente couple the target of the “PDA police?”
It turns out that, “not only are they physically and emotionally synched, but they have the potential to create a fun, affectionate world for each other.” And that’s not all. “Since they tend to collaborate well together on all fronts, they’d also make terrific partners on a joint project.” (Can we–fingers crossed–look forward to a Swiftian guest appearance on “Glee?”) If they do decide to work together, Moonit double-dares them to “keep their professional situation make-out free.”

While they’re romantically on the same page, their friendship may need some long-term work. These two definitely have disparate approaches to life; to get more specific, Cory’s “pretty assertive,” but Taylor’s whole game is “actually not having game, expressing her interests passively.” Fortunately, they’ve got a unifying trump card: nookie.
This can work to their advantage in diffusing tense situations, but if they’re not physically fulfilled, their differences can easily “drive them apart”; “before they know it, the littlest pet peeve will be grounds for outright nastiness.” For the love of country-pop’s future, we beseech you! Keep it hot and heavy! And if you guys get tired of smooching, just let us know. We’ll totally step in.
