Why Christina’s Not Livin’ The-Dream Anymore

If you were wondering why singer Christina Milian seems a little mopey, maybe it has something to do with the fact that her husband–songwriter/producer Terius Youngdell Nash (aka “The-Dream”)–is currently working on a new album entitled Love/Affair.

We were hoping against hope that it was just a catchy title, but this week, photos surfaced of The Dream on a romantic, PDA-filled, Carribbean vacation…with his personal assistant, Melissa. Next, Christina all but confirmed the demise of her relationship, tweeting, “Whatever you think, BELIEVE IT.” Now that all this dirty, Dream-y laundry is airing out in the open, Moonit’s looking into why the couple got together in the first place, and what brought out The-Dream’s cheating ways.

According to their birth date analysis, Christina (born on September 26, 1981) and The-Dream (born on June 14, 1981) have a “strong tendency to gravitate towards each other when deciding who to work with.” (That makes sense; the two began collaborating in early 2009, which laid the groundwork for her record deal with Radio Killa.)

The-Dream’s got this “odd effect” on Christina that makes her “more intense…[and gets her] taking everything really seriously.” On a positive note, Christina’s “constant support and admiration” come in handy when The-Dream “blows his gasket,” so he’s “able to be the least irate version of himself” when Christina’s around.

Good for business? Absolutely. Good for a long-term relationship? Not so much. They “definitely care a lot about each other,” and they have “all the makings of a solid friendship,” but only if they’re “both willing to…stop taking everything so darn seriously.”

Otherwise, their dynamic can be a little “tough to deal with on a friendship level.” In terms of their romantic potential, the couple has “passion to spare,” and they’re not “afraid of a little PDA,” but without a solid base to ground it in, that doesn’t mean much. Ah, well. Good luck, Christina. We bet there’ll be a million solid, faithful guys lining up around the block for a shot at some Milian time.
